Passeig de Sant Joan is Barcelona’s upcoming hotspot for foodies. Cafe Búho is one of the many delicious options you can choose from.
The rise of Passeig de Sant Joan as a food lover hotspot has not gone unnoticed. More and more people, locals and some well informed tourists, find their way to this long street. With the inevitable result that also more new places open their doors here to provide us with even more deliciousness!
Cafe Búho brings the street a little bit of French bistro vibe. It’s a small cafe but provided with big windows, making it cosy and bright inside. The interior design has a vintage bistro look and due to the music choice of the day I passed by…I almost pictured myself having brunch in France.
The city life that passes by outside won’t go unnoticed when you find a table here, but if you like to be in the middle of it: Búho has a terrace! Not many brunch places offer a seat outside, so I love that about this place.
On the menu you will find some typical brunch/lunch dishes like bagels, eggs or a nice lunch salad. I tried the fruit waffles, eggs and a piece of pear cake as dessert and it was all very tasty!
They also have a good selection of smoothies and milkshakes. So whether you crave sweet comfort food or rather have a healthy start of your day, you will surely find something you like here on the menu.
